testing sites in Slovenia for migrants — Ljubljana 2x, Logatec, Maribor, Murska Sobota, Žalec, Črnomelj, Metlika

As part of the Expand project, Slovene Philanthropy conducts testing for HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections for migrants, especially for asylum seekers, persons with recognized international protection and persons with temporary protection.

In Ljubljana, Maribor and Logatec, we offer counselling, information, psychosocial and psychotherapeutic help and advocacy to migrants with different statuses. We organize various activities to facilitate the integration of migrants and refugees into the new environment. We also carry out activities in the Community Centre for Migrants, where we offer psychosocial assistance to migrants organizing their free time, help in establishing and strengthening their social network, and help in overcoming intercultural shock (also the consequences of the institutionalized treatment of asylum seekers).

Testing for migrants takes place once a week for two hours, every Thursday between 10h and 12h in the premises of the Clinic for persons without health insurance at Mislejeva 3 in Ljubljana.

Testing for asylum seekers takes place once a month for two hours in the premises of the Asylum Centre at Cesta v Gorice 15 in Ljubljana.
